Welcome to the Pumpkin Patch!

A visit to the pumpkin patch is a great way to spend a beautiful fall day!!

"Help!! We are Lost in a Corn Maze!!"

It finally stopped raining so we decided to venture out to the corn maze at Young's. The kids and I started the afternoon in good spirits, ready to conquer the maze. Morgan attempts to lead us to one of the four check points hidden in the maze. "Are we having fun yet??" After an hour, we still hadn't found a check point. "Yea!!" We finally found a check point! A half hour or so later we found another check point. After walking in circles for about 40 more minutes we found ourselves by the entrance to the maze at which point the kids said "Mom, we give up!! Can we forget about the other two and go home??"

The Next Day...

Well, we survived the night!! (No problems or fights.) Overall it was a very successful party!

Nothing like a healthy breakfast of doughnuts!!

Jake's Birthday (Part 2)

Since we were camping last weekend, we decided to let Jake have some friends spend the night this weekend.

The kids had fun tye dying again this weekend. Morgan and Grant take time to smile for the camera. The choice of colors is pink or blue. Morgan works on a two-toned sweatshirt. Happy birthday dear Jake... Ice cream and cake.... YUM! What can it be???

Jake Turns Eight!!!

Once again we celebrated Jake's birthday at the campground.


As a special birthday treat Jake asked if he and his KOA friend Zach could rent bikes. We said sure. The boys had a blast zipping around the campground.

Later in the day everyone worked on tye dyes.

After a full day of birthday fun, we ended the day with cake and presents!!

Fun at the Campgrounds!

As usual, we spent the Labor Day weekend camping. The kids had fun playing with their "campground friends" as well as Ethan and Elaine.
